We continue our study of caterpillars and butterflies as we are reading a book called, "True or False: Butterflies & Caterpillars". The teacher reads a statement from the book about a butterfly or caterpillar and the children answer whether or not they think it is true or false. Then, the teacher reads the answer and factual information from the book. It's been a quick and easy way to review what we have learned and to further our knowledge about butterflies. Here were today's "statements":
The largest butterfly in the world lives in the United States. True or False?
The smallest butterfly is the size of a thumbnail. True or False?
Butterflies and moths look alike. True or False?
Ask your children to share the answers with you!
