ELECTION DAY/VOTING LESSON

Carolyn's mom came in today to teach us about election day and voting. She explained that in our country we are able to elect our leaders, which is not that way in all countries. The children met 2 "candidates" (Thing 1 and Thing 2) and then voted on which one they would elect to be their leader. Ask your child who the winner was! We celebrated the candidate's victory with patriotic cupcakes. Thank you for a great lesson!
