WEEK OF JANUARY 19TH

Dear Parents--
We hope you enjoyed the 4-day weekend and aren't suffering too badly from cabin fever! Since we did not finish our study of the letter sound, N, last week and we have a shortened week this week, we have decided not to introduce a new letter sound this week.

We are hoping to spend some time on Tuesday talking about Martin Luther King, Jr. and also the Presidential Inauguration--some good history lessons! We will also spend time this week learning the lines for our play, "The Bear Case". We will send home a note via your child's folder by this Friday if he/she would benefit from practicing his/her lines at home also. Some of the lines are very simple and our rehearsals at school are enough.

Beginning Tuesday morning this week, you may begin scheduling on line for the upcoming Parent/Teacher conferences.

Stay Warm! Lisa and Shari
