VALENTINE'S DAY

On Friday February 13th, the morning Pre-K class will celebrate Valentine's Day with a party from 10:30-11:30. Parents are welcome to join us for this celebration. Here is what we need for you and your child to do in preparation for our party....

~Children DO NOT need to decorate a box at home. The children will be decorating a bag at school in which they will collect their valentines from classmates.

~Please have your child bring 21 valentines to school on the morning of February 13th. We will have the children distribute their valentines prior to the party. In order to make distribution easy and simple, please have your child sign his/her name on the card only. You do not need to put classmates' names on the envelopes.

~Our 2nd grade buddies will be joining us for a brief time during our party to assist their Pre-K buddies in opening and reading their valentines. Please have your child bring in a valentine(s) for their buddies. Be sure to ask your child if he/she has 1 or 2 second grade buddies.

~Candy attached to valentine cards for classmates is fine, BUT PLEASE NO CANDY WHICH CONTAINS NUTS OR PEANUT BUTTER.
