PRE-K OUTDOOR WEEK

Next week, we are taking our learning outdoors! Children should dress in clothing appropriate for outdoors (jeans, sweats, tennis shoes, boots, etc.). Children do not need to wear their uniforms/dress code next week. PLEASE HAVE YOUR CHILD WEAR AS MUCH GREEN AS POSSIBLE NEXT WEDNESDAY, APRIL 22ND, IN CELEBRATION OF EARTH DAY!

TUESDAY MAY 26TH
MORNING PRE-K SWIMMING DAY

This is a wonderful opportunity for the Pre-K children to visit and swim in the Academy pool, as next year in Kindergarten they will have swimming class once every 6 days. There will be no formal instruction for the Pre-K children. Rather, Mr. Yakscoe (one of the swimming instructors) will meet the children, talk about pool/swimming safety, and assist the children in developing a comfort level swimming in the Academy pool. The Pre-K teachers and parent volunteers will also be in the water assisting the children with some parent volunteers supervising from the pool deck. Please refer to the blue letter we sent home in folders for preparing and sending your child to school on swimming days.

THURSDAY APRIL 30TH
TUESDAY MAY 5TH (RAIN DATE)
CLASS PICTURE DAY

Each class in Lower School will have a class picture taken on this day. (Order forms will be sent home via folders.) At 11:55 the entire Lower School will meet on the football bleachers for a photo. THEREFORE, WE WILL NEED YOU TO DELAY PICKING UP YOUR CHILD FROM THE MORNING PRE-K CLASS UNTIL 12:00 ON THIS DAY.
