Fireman Dave visits Pre-K

Fireman Dave from the Mifflin Township Fire Department visited the morning Pre-K class to teach us about his job as a firefighter and also about fire prevention/safety. To make it more fun and interesting, Fireman Dave incorporates magic into his presentation. The children were excellent listeners! Ask your child to tell you about "Stop, Drop, and Roll"; 9-1-1; and establishing an escape plan from your house. Blake and Jack were chosen to help Fireman Dave demonstrate "Stop, Drop, and Roll". Brooke volunteered to get dressed up as a firefighter in Fireman Dave's uniform/gear. In your child's folder today are some pages to help them review the information he/she learned today from Fireman Dave, as well as a letter for parents. Enjoy the photos below of Fireman Dave's visit to the morning Pre-K class!

I love looking at this site everynight. I enjoy seeing what the kids are up to. They all look really happy and seem to really be enjoying themselves. I just went back through all the pictures from the beginning of the year. This is so great. I want to thank you for taking the time to put this blog together. It is so very nice. Thanks again
